Service changes from Wednesday 2nd April 2025
These changes are designed to improve on-time running, while others are designed to improve network performance and efficiency.
School Bus 15 – AM changes – Timing point changes and connection removal at Samford State School
- Samford Showgrounds – new departure time of 8.06am
- Mt O’Reilly Road – new departure time of 8.08am
- Samford State School – new departure time of 8.20am
- Removed connections with 62AM and 63AM
- Service continues onto Ferny Grove State High School
School Bus 62 AM & School Bus 63AM – Samford State School removal of connection with School Bus 15 AM
- School buses 62 & 63 no longer connect with School Bus 15 AM at Samford State School
- If required, both School Buses 62 & 63 will continue through to Ferny Grove High School after setting down Samford State School students
School Bus 43 AM – Timing point changes
- Genesis College – new departure time of 8.05am
- Bray Park State High School – new departure time of 8.10am
- Gum Street bus stop on Samsonvale Road – new departure time of 8.15am
School Bus 17 AM – Timing point changes
- Ferny Grove Station – new departure time of 7.35am once all connections made
- Mitchelton State High School – new departure time of 7.40am
- Mt Maria Mitchelton – new departure time of 7.45am
- Hillbrook – new departure time of 7.55am
School Bus 78 – Timing point changes
- Eden Drive layover – new departure time of 7.45am
- Eaton’s Hill State School – new departure of 7.55am
School Bus 14 PM – Permanent combination of School buses ex14 Pm & 16 PM
- School Bus 16 now takes all students for ex14 and 16 through to Samford.
- School Bus 16 will now stop upon request at Samford Church, and Main Street (CWA Hall)
- Students who travel to Burton Lane, Eaton's Crossing Road, Bunya Road, Heather Ann Drive & Hodge Road will now transfer onto School Bus 71 at the Samford Soccer Fields for their onward journey
- School Bus 15 will follow behind School bus 16 at Ferny Grove High Schol to balance student numbers if required. Samford Village students deboard at the Ambulance Station opposite Mary Ring Drive.
School Bus 71 PM – Route Change
- After completion of its Samford State School service, School Bus 71 now travels to Samford Soccer Fields to onboard students from School Bus 16 for Burton Lane, Eatons Crossing Road, Bunya Road, Heather Anne Drive and Hodge Road.
- Students who would usual catch School Bus 71 at 4.15pm from Ferny Grove Station now need to board School Bus 10.
School Bus 10 PM – Route Extension
- School Bus 10 takes over the 4.15pm School Bus 71 PM route
- After completion of its Padua, Mt Alvernia & Hillbrook run into Ferny Grove Station, School bus 10 will then lay over nearby. (students who previously caught School Bus 71 and now need to catch School Bus 10 can stay on board)
- Any students for our other 4.15pm services – School Bus 75, 58, 59 or 76 must still deboard at Ferny Grove station an await their connecting service.
- When called in for 4.15pm services, further students may board, service then continues into Samford as per the previous School Bus 71 PM 4.15pm route.
- Students who would normally transfer onto School Bus 71PM at Ferny Grove Station now need to catch School Bus 10
- Note, the revised School Bus 10 4.15pm services will not travel down Burton Lane.
School Bus 59 PM – Removal of connection point
- Removed connection with Nudgee service at Topiaries / Venue 961
- Continues onto Ferny Grove Station and lays over for the 4.15pm service
Nudgee 5 Service PM – Removal of connection point
- Removed connection with School Bus 59 at Topiaries / Venue 961
- Continue onto Woods Road to transfer Nudgee students. May on board any Samford bound students
